Brazillian Truffles – Pecan-Cinnamon

These are really easy to make, just combine the ingredients and form into balls.

Brazillian Truffles – Pecan-Cinnamon

  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ounce white chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon salted butter, plus more for your hands
  • 1 cup toasted pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In a non-stick saucepan, heat the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate, and butter over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and shiny, about 15 to 18 minutes.

Spread mixture in a shallow dish and let cool for 15 minutes.  Refrigerate until completely cooled.

On a work surface, arrange little paper candy cups.  In a shallow dish, combine the pecans and cinnamon.

Butter your hands and roll rounded teaspoons of the candy mixture into balls.  Roll each ball in the pecans and cinnamon and drop into a candy cup.

Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.  Store in the refrigerator.

Makes 30 truffles.
